We are the manufacturer of a wide range of passive optical products offering various styles of distribution frames from small and medium capacity wall mounted boxes for indoor and outdoor applications through 19-inch patch panels to high capacity stand-alone central office cabinets and access distribution boxes. Some of our solutions are designed specifically for installation in telecommunications cabinets directly on an industrial DIN rail.
What are DIN rails?
An example of a rail that meets the DIN standard
A DIN rail is a standard rail made of cold rolled carbon steel sheet with a zinc-plated/chromated bright surface finish. DIN rails are widely used for mounting electrical devices, industrial control modules and fibre optic distribution boxes inside equipment racks. Typical variant: 35 mm wide mounting rail.
Why is this a practical solution? Mounting accessories on a DIN rail is simple and requires no tools. The DIN rail is a convenient solution that saves space, allows easy equipment reconfigurations and future system expansions as well as makes service and maintenance faster.
It’s a solution adapted all over the world and successfully used for nearly 100 years!
