Summary of GITEX AI Europe 2026 in Berlin

From June 30 to July 1, 2026, the Optomer team took part in GITEX AI Europe 2026 at Messe Berlin. The event brought together technology companies, startups, investors, and experts from around the world, becoming a hub for discussions on the development of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and modern infrastructure.

This year’s edition showed that artificial intelligence is no longer viewed solely as a future technology. An increasing number of showcased solutions focused on real, practical applications that support day-to-day business operations. Among the most frequently discussed topics were process automation, data analytics, cybersecurity, data center infrastructure, cloud solutions, quantum technologies, and Europe’s digital sovereignty.

For Optomer, the infrastructure aspect of the entire AI ecosystem was particularly important. As the use of artificial intelligence grows, so does the demand for stable and high-performance transmission networks, data centers, and fiber optic solutions that form the backbone of modern digital services. This is an area where telecommunications and physical infrastructure remain a key link in the broader technology chain.

Participation in the event provided an opportunity to engage with partners from various market segments, exchange experiences, and gain a deeper understanding of technology trends that will directly impact the telecommunications sector and infrastructure projects in the coming years.

GITEX AI Europe 2026 clearly highlighted the scale and pace of change in AI, but also made one thing evident: the development of software and digital services increasingly depends on the quality and availability of the underlying infrastructure.

We would like to thank everyone we had the opportunity to meet and talk with during the event. We return with new contacts, insights, and ideas that will be applied in Optomer’s upcoming projects.
